Casillero del Diablo Tempranillo 2020 Wine Tasting Review (Episode 407)

We review Casillero del Diablo’s Tempranillo wine which for £7:50 we hope will be excellent value for money.

The colour is very vibrant with a tawny hue to it.

On the nose, it smells of cherries with some other scent that we were unable to identify.

On the palate, the wine goes through three separate phases of taste.

First, the taste/scent that we were unable to identify when we smelled the wine, is then overtaken by the cherry taste and then finally the taste of oak which also has a hint of coffee about it.

For its price of £7:50, this wine has more character and complexity than one would expect.
