Cabernet Sauvignon

Camino del Angel Cabernet Sauvignon – worth buying? (Episode 412)

We taste and review a cabernet sauvignon from Chile that costs only £6:50!

The colour of the wine is a nice deep burgundy red.

On the nose, John L detected cherry and blackcurrant while John M thought there were so many fruit flavours, he could not detect any one of them.

As such John M felt that the nose of this wine was typical of a Cabernet Sauvignon.

The scent of wood could also be detected. Taste wise the wine simply disappointing.

The immediate taste was quite pleasant, but this is quickly replaced by an unpleasant taste.

The length of the wine is reasonable but unfortunately, it is not a pleasant aftertaste.

Even at £6:50 this wine was not worth the money we have had cheaper wines that were much better.
