Red wine

Campo Viejo Rioja Blanco Review (Episode 411)

We review a well-known Label’s wine – Campo Viejo’s Rioja Blanco.

Red Rioja is John M’s favourite wine, and he loves most Spanish White wines so what will he think of this?

The wine has a straw golden colour, and, on the nose, there are plenty of pineapple/tropical fruit notes, including peach.

Overall, it has a great fruity fresh smell that makes you want to dive in to taste the wine.

The first thing to hit you is the taste of peaches and the fantastic silky/velvety texture of the wine.

There is a little more acidity on the taste compared to that on the nose which makes the wine delightfully fresh and vibrant.

What’s more, the length is exceptional for white wine and the price of £6:50.
