We taste and review a Rioja Reserva recommended by one of our viewers, NPMsco, the Espartero Rioja Reserva which can be purchased for the fantastic price of £5:75.
The colour looks excellent with that tawny look to it!
The nose is absolutely stupendous!
The oak and leather notes come through with black cherry.
On the palate, it has a great cherry taste, and a nice mouthfeel, but not quite as heavy as John M would have expected or hoped for in a Rioja Reserva.
However, at £5:75 this wine really, really delivers!
