Cabernet Sauvignon

Apothic Cabernet Sauvignon Wine Review (Episode 324)

We review taste an exceedingly popular Cabernet Sauvignon, namely Apothic Cab.

This wine is a blend made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, followed by Zinfandel, Pinot Noir and a small number of other varietals grown in California USA.

The colour is a very dark red and the nose has a fantastic jammy smell.

The fruit that can be detected is strawberry and cherry although it was difficult to get passed that fantastic jammy experience.

The fantastic taste is full-on and for such a bold full-on flavour wine the tannins are delightfully light.

This wine was one that both Johns would keep in their wine rack – well worth a try give it a go and let us know what you think of it!
