Chronic Cellars Zinfandel Wine Review (Episode 397)

We review another Zinfandel in this episode – a Chronic Cellar Zinfandel.

The wine is a rich purple colour and, on the nose, the wine has powerful blackcurrant and cocoa scent.

The wine has a very velvety feel in the mouth and had blackcurrant fruit flavour floods the mouth together with that chocolate taste.

John L suggested pairing this with a steak or stew and maybe lamb.

In addition, it would pair well with a lot of BBQ meats.

John M suggests some cheddar or Lincolnshire Poacher would pair well with this wine.
