Australia Wine

Penfold Koonunga Hill Chardonnay (Episode 308)

In this episode, we taste another Chardonnay this time from Penfolds in Australia.

Penfolds is a very distinguished wine label that has many wines that are expensive to buy, but this wine was in the affordable range for us mere mortals at £9.00 per bottle.

The colour is an exceptionally light yellow more typical of a Pinot Grigio than a chardonnay

It’s nose was also delicate just like it’s colour.

It certainly isn’t quite as powerful as many chardonnay.

The taste however is more typically chardonnay although slightly lighter in taste than many chardonnay.

This is a great refreshing chardonnay and even at £9:00 worth the money.
