Tasting a Great Red Portuguese wine (Episode 97)

In this episode, having read in the wine magazine ‘Decanter’ that Portugal is the place to be to discover some of the most exciting new wines to be brought to market, we decided to taste a sample from a vineyard in the Tejo wine region just to the North West of Portugal’s capital city – Lisbon.

The wine we tasted was Lobo e Falcao (Wolf and Falcon) The wolf part of the name comes from the Vineyard owners nickname and the Falcon part of the name comes from where the wine is produced in what used to be Portuguese Royalty’s Falconry.

What a great wine!
