Bourgogne

Burgundy’s Maison Chanzy Bouzeron Clos de la Fortune Monopole (Episode 215)

This wine was kindly given to us by some friends – John and Matthew – thanks, guys!

The wine is made from the Aligote grape which is grown in the Burgundy or Bourgogne.

We both loved the wine it is a very classy wine which for white wine is very complex on both the nose and palate.

Straw in colour, melon, peppers and even Weetabix on the nose!

On the palate, the melon is still very much present with a touch of honey and green peppers.

The wine has great complexity and a great length for white wine.

Hopefully, this link will help you find out where you can source this wine local to you
