In this episode, I get the honour of interviewing Pedro Santos from the Casa de Carvalha vineyard in the Portuguese wine region of Doa.
The interview takes place in the Order dos Engenheiros, roughly translated into the Chartered Institute of Engineering’s restaurant where we get to taste Pedro’s family’s wine as well enjoying a fantastic lunch.
Pedro talks about his own comparatively small vineyard (3 Hectacres) as well the Portuguese wine industry, in general, both past and present.
It is a fascination conversation where Pedro really gives us an insight into the Portuguese wine market.
