SL’M Low Calorie Sparkling Chardonnay and Pinot Spumante Wine (Episode 283)

In this episode, we taste and review a low-calorie Spumante wine (sparkling) made from Chardonnay and Pinot grapes from the SL’M portfolio.

Chardonnay and pinot grapes are also used to make Champagne, and in this SL’M wine, no additional sugar has been added and the wine is also carbohydrate-free.

The low-calorie content of this wine therefore an excellent wine to choose for those of you on a calorie or carbohydrate-controlled diet.

This wine could the difference between keeping to or breaking your diet and so is well worth looking at.

This sparkling wine is produced from Chardonnay and Pinot grapes which are grown in Italy.

These are, of course, the same grapes that are used to make Champagne in France.

When we reviewed it, we felt it was ideal to drink on its own as strong food tastes could overpower its delicate but lovely flavour.

Since the recording, John L has had the opportunity to taste it with cheese and ham and was surprised to discover that it held its own much better than he anticipated.

SL’M wines have other wines in their portfolio and WineMastery will be reviewing another 6 of their excellent wines in the next month or so.

If you try this wine we would love to hear what you think of it.
