Ramos Reserva Wine Review (Episode 255)

In this episode, we review a wine from the Alentejano region in Portugal.

This wine is available from the retailing wine chain – Majestic – in the UK, but I am sure it is also exported all over the world.

In the glass, the wine is a lovely burgundy colour, with a spicy nose or smell, with a cherry under note.

In fact, it reminded of John M of a traditional Yorkshire cake called Parkin

When tasting, the cherry taste is full-on with some other red berry tastes also coming through afterwards.

John M also picked up a tobacco taste.

It is a remarkably interesting wine to taste and is incredible value for money for £7.50
