Brancott Pinot Noir (Episode 111 Part 1)

In this episode, we taste the first of our three NewZealand Pinot Noirs from Brancott Estate which was established in 1973.

John detected a smokey fragrance together with a hint of tyre rubber.

The taste was bright, light and fresh cherry and very light on the tannins. The aftertaste or “length” didn’t last very long to which John puts down to the lack of tannins.
