Italian Wine

Tasting a Garganega and Pinot Grigio blended wine from M&S (Episode 70 Part 3)

In the last part of this episode, we taste what John L thought was a regional Pinot Grigio, but the region turned out to be a Grape Variety:-)

Still some learning to be done here then!

The wine tasted here is a blend of Garganega and Pinot Grigio.

The wine, sold by Marks & Spencer, is from the growers co-operative of Monteforte.

The wine comes from grapes grown around the village of Monteforte d’Alpone which is situated in the eastern part of the Verona Province in Italy and has a great reputation for growing excellent Garganega and Pinot Grigio grapes.
