Tasting a Garganega and Pinot Grigio blended wine from M&S (Episode 70 Part 3)

In the last part of this episode, we taste what John L thought was a regional Pinot Grigio, but the region turned out to be a Grape Variety:-)

Still some learning to be done here then!

The wine tasted here is a blend of Garganega and Pinot Grigio.

The wine, sold by Marks & Spencer, is from the growers co-operative of Monteforte.

The wine comes from grapes grown around the village of Monteforte d’Alpone which is situated in the eastern part of the Verona Province in Italy and has a great reputation for growing excellent Garganega and Pinot Grigio grapes.

Tasting Pinot Grigio from Sainsbury’s (Episode 70 Part 2)

In this part of the episode, we taste another Pinot Grigio, this time from the UK High Street Food retailer/supermarket chain Sainsbury’s.

This wine is from Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Range and is more expensive than the Aldi Pinot Grigio we tasted in Part 1, so is it worth the extra money?
